Not only can I access my bookmarks from any computer, I can tag my chosen sites using natural language (or unnatural language if I choose)...and (take a breath) share my bookmarks with the whole world, creating bookmark networks along the way. Phew.
The idea of social bookmarking is that you can group your favourite websites outside your web browser. Effectively you can view your favourites from any computer and logging on to your Social book marking account. You have the option of making your list private or sharing it with the world. If other like minded bookmarkers think your list is kewl, they can link to to your list.
Tagging your bookmarks is pretty neat as you can assign your own "subject-headings" or descriptors to group everything in a way that is natural to you. No need for a pesky Thesaurus. The concept is non heirachical, but in a way, 'tag bundles' enable you to structure your tags.
